Between launching their Paris store and a collection with Stone Island, Supreme have found time this week to squeeze in another collab with *name drop* Urs Fischer. The Swiss artist, who you would probably recognise from his recent shoot with Queen B, brings his trademark ‘anti-art’ to three different decks for the New York label.
Drawing from anti-authoritarian movements of neo-data and situationist international, Fischer and Supreme together make for a very good fit. It seems he knows his audience as well, with the boards showing a cigarette burning down in three stages. Incorporating his love for everyday objects, the decks also showcase the passage of time and the effect it has on certain objects, which is a regular feature in his work.
The boards will be available in store in New York, LA, London, Paris and online March 24, and released March 26 in Japan.
